In ad- dition, the members decorate the mar- quis in front of the school, along with being contributors to various school organizations, such as the Music Department, the Media Department, and the Yearbook. This year the Council sent members Missy Ingram, Tonna Flint, and Reid Trego to the County Teen Con- ference. The entire Student Council also sat in on discussions involving the selection of a school name for the new district and the choosing of school col- ors and a mascot. A new scholarship was also started this year within the Student Council. It was called the Student Council Ser- vice Scholarship and it would give the lucky recipient $1000. This year’s winner was Missy Ingram. Yes, you CAN do it, Mr Lobb!! 7
