HONOR SOCIETY Row 1: Chrissie Manion, Edye Bury, Dave Johnson, Misti McBride, Eileen Turngren, Russ Walder, Marta Ontiveros. Row 2: Scot Wonderlin, Julie Matthews. Karen Hedges, Rob Johnson, Kirt Davis. Jon Buck. Row 3: Mickey Sullivan, Terri Tolch, Steve Walder, Rich Hatfield, Phil Pajor. HONOR SOCIETY Becoming a member of the National Honor Society is one of the greatest honors that can be bestowed upon a student because membership is restricted to such a small percentage of the student body and because competition is so keen for those few openings. This honor is not something that a student can win because of one outstanding performance in one specific area. It is one that is granted because of outstanding performance over a period of three to four years. Students are graded by the entire faculty in the areas of character, scholarship, leadership, and active participation. Only by maintaining a consistently high level of character can a student be named to this select group. Honor Society members have served their school, their community, their parents, and themselves in a valuable way. This positive influence will undoubtedly con- tinue as each member faces the challenges of the future. Mr. Seidel — Advisor Mr. Dean — Principal
