We stopped in New York where we joined kids from 17 other countries. It was so much fun, This was my first time out of my country, so I was a little afraid, But l found so much love and help from everybody, that soon l felt like lbelonged Before actually entering H, H, S, , my host fam- ily, the Elston Klockes, went to California, This was probably one of my best times in the U, S, because l got to see the scenery of different states. It also helped me to know, understand, and love the Klockes. My experiences at H, H, S, have been great, I want to thank all the administration, the teachers, and the kids for giving me the chance to know how school is in America. I have learned a lot from everybody, l'l1 leave Hoopeston on July 5, We will have a bus trip around some states and then I'll arrive in Quito ontluly 13, Thank you, Good Bye, Good luck, Amparo

I, Philip Anderson will my ability to remember my football equipment to Slick Davis,' and lots of luck to the Junior Three-Some. l, Shelley Ault, will Lisa Layden the ability to stop suddenly when driving on a brick road in the rain and to Donna Baker I will Manchester Hall, l, Becky Barker, will Joyce Hoke all the luck in the world, and to Rhonda Leigh, a chain for her keys, I, Russell Borders, will all my ability to lose weight in wrestling and all my skill to Greg Bane. I, Bruce Carlson, will my purity to GOODNESS, and my machete to Gary Neal and Sheri Swim to fight off the miscellaneous evils that may fall upon her, l, Mary Carter, will Edie Schuen and Amy Laird my uncoordination in P. E. and to Edie l will my ability to talk in study hall whenever I want. l, Lynn Carter, will my , 22 rifle to John Zollars, I, Carolyn Clayborn, will all the fun I had at H, H, S, to my brother, I, Wayne Conrad, will anything that l never had to a person that will never be, I, Melody Cramer, will my Government class to Malley Goodrum, and my fantastic ability in P, E, to Karen Henson, I, Ron Cress, will one good camera to anyone on the Picayune Staff that knows how to use it so that the '71-'72 Picayune might have more and better pictures, I, Christy Davis, will Betty Mann the ability to get the guy she's after - especially 132 and all the trouble he's given her, and to Teri Rayls the best of luck, l, Sandy Drollinger, will my ability to smile the day after I work to Diane Hanshew and all my good times in fifth hour P. E. class to my cousin, Nina. l, Patti Eckersley, will everyone the joy of life and Lynn Carlson all of my hits, I, Amparo Endara, will everybody the chance to go to Ecuador and visit me. l, Ron Ervin, will my good grades in Bookkeeping to Jim Means, he needs them, l, Jeff France, will my bowl hair cut to Marvin Miller, l, Shelly Franklin, will Betty Mann my ability in pizza making, I, Ronnie Gage, will my great ability in P, E. to Kevin McIntyre and my ability to get dismissed from Mr. Schoenhofen's class to anyone who needs a way out of Spanish I, II, III, or IV.
