This year at H.H.S. has been a very successful one. Our sponsors for the year were Mr. Doty and Mrs. Vines. We would like to thank them for everything. Class officers for the final year were Craig Lithgow, President; Frank Smith, Vice-President; Vicki Keitzmann, Secretary; and Suzy Hollen, Treasurer. The Senior Class was well represented on Student Council. Mark Layden, President; Tom Wagoner, Vice- President; Alice McCrory, Secretary; and Ned Carter, Treasurer. Council members were John Schellhardt, Frank Smith, Scott Mc- Bride, Mike Drollinger and Steve Baldwin, Debbie Block, Kay Layden, Gloria Gholson, and Mary Atchison. Homecoming was a great success even though we lost the game. Seniors captured First Place with their float “Doty’s Express. Sandy Goodrum also captured the title of Homecoming Queen, with Debbie Block and Marilyn Owen as Senior Attendants. In Football and Basketball the Cornjerkers light didn’t shine too bright. Though we didn’t win very many games, the boys played hard and we sure are proud of them! Cheering our teams on were Gloria Gholson and Sherry Houmes, representatives of the Senior Class on the Varsity Cheerleading Squad. All in all it has been a year well spent ! ! ! !
