The beginning was sad because she felt rather lost and un- familiar with her conditions and surroundings; now the end is sad be- cause she must leave all her new-made friends and her second family and home. Liesbeth is not the only one who is sad over her departure; the stu- dents demonstrated in the assembly for her at the end of the year, their sadness for her leaving. This year, while Liesbeth has graced our school with her presence, we have experienced her vitality, charming personality, and never- ending smile. Now, as the end of the year came and Lies left our midst, we can all look back on this wonderful year and truly remember Our Little Dutch Girl. ACTIVITIES s T U D E N T H O N O R 1st Row: (1. to R.)
