Girls interested in competing in intramural volleyball signed up to play. Captains were elected by the girls and the captains chose their own teams. From then on it was a battle to see which team would come out on top with the champion¬ ship trophy at the end of the tournament which closed the volleyball season. Some of the girls proved to be outstanding athletes in the field of volleyball; but all the girls participating played hard and enjoyed the games. The sponsor for the games was Mr. Lloyd Unick.
