A quaint antique. ..I wonder, could it be con¬ verted to a lamp? Mr. Tom Nuss, Station Editor and Jerri Janssen at station KHOL-TV near Holdrege. Seniors Take A Day Off On April 28, the Seniors started out at 3:07 A.M. for the western part of the state for the an¬ nual Senior Sneak Day. The first stop was for breakfast near Grand Island. From there they journeyed to Minden where they toured Pioneer Village. After this stop, the Seniors visited the television station KHOL-TV. The Class of ’61 took the nearest de¬ tour to Kearney where most of them viewed the Kearney Invitational Track Meet held at the Kearney State Teachers College, while others bowled, window shopped, or ate. After eating dinner in Kearney, they re¬ turned to Grand Island to see the show Pepe. It was 1:15 A.M. Saturday morning when the Seniors returned home. All abooooooard. Just what I always needed; what is it? Don't think about it, Jerri. After all, it was only a cat! 25

Evening In Paris What's your opinion on the matter Donna? The evening of May 6, 1961 was a very special night for the Juniors and Seniors, for this night the Juniors presented the annual Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom. It was held at the City Auditorium which had been trans¬ formed into Gay Parree by placing small tables around the sides to represent a sidewalk cafe of Paris. A garden wall marked off the dance floor and the Eiffel Tower rose in the west while a cart of flowers sat at the other end. The banquet was at 6:30 P.M. followed by the dance at 9:00 P.M. The music was provided by the Skyliners. No, I'm not nervous about my speech Diane, just petrified! Spill something Ron?
