They started the year by selling megaphones to raise money. They sponsored a pep rally for every football and basketball game and at these rallvs a pep skit was usually given by a committee of the members. For each game they made locker decorations and placed signs throughout the building. The Pep Club made a float for Home- coming and helped sponsor Homecoming. At all the home basketball games, the Pep Club members sold refreshments. When Hooper won the right to go to State1' the Pep Club members made banners and signs telling of the event. The Pep Club worked very hard for the Athletic Banquet honoring all the boys who have participated in sports during the 1960-'61 school year. There was one revision to the Con¬ stitution this year and that was to have an alternate cheerleader to help the other five cheerleaders. For the basketball season the girls purchased material and made new skirts which was a very nice change. CHEERLEADERS: Standing, JoAnn Krohn. Gwen Dierking. Kneeling, Kay Row, Sharon Shepard. 10 RAY'S PLACE LALLMAN'S GROCERY, Winslow GIBSON JEWELRY
