Lois Kroeger served as Editor of the 196 0 Cardinal. Through her excellent supervision, the annual was completed on time. Assistant Editor was Mary Schafersman. Besides helping super¬ vise the production, she was a great help in the advertising campaign. A good job was done by Cindy Mintken, as Business Manager, and Emily Kraemer as assistant. Cindy managed all business affairs and correspondence for the Cardinal. Emily also proof readand helped in the Activities section. Selling annuals was the sole responsibility of Jerry Dorfmeyer, Sales Manager. The position of Advertising Manager was capably filled by Marilyn Smeal. Her assistant was Sharon Shepard. Due to the efforts of these three, the annual ' s financial problems were solved. Judy Hansen served as the photographer, taking most of the pictures for the Cardinal. She was assisted by Jerri Janssen and Sandi Danskin. Jerri also served as Underclassmen Editor, and Sandi, as Faculty Editor. Senior Editor, Carolyn Moore, had the task of organizing the Senior section. Sports Editor, Lila Bartling, designed and produced the Sports section of the Cardinal, as did all section editors. Doris Peters and Margie Clausen, Activities Editors, had a big job, which they completed very satisfactorily. As Art Editor, Cecil Hocking did a lot of the artwork for the other sections, helping wherever he was needed. Each member of the staff helped in selling advertising space, and many snapshots were con¬ tributed by friends and classmates. A special thanks is due to Mr. Bill Robley and Mr. Dale Feenstra, who were willing to give some of their time to take pictures for the Cardinal.
