The forty-eight Sophomores started their second year of High School very slowly. Then on No¬ vember 6, at the Homecoming parade, their float won second j ' ze. To help raise money for the banquet and prom that they will give in their Junior year, they picked up corn twice. Also to help raise money, they gave a Spring Dance March 19 in honor of the fine job the basketball boys did during the season Let ' s see now, if 3x equals 7y.... 2 1 1- §1

Busch, K. Moeller, Mr. Willoughby, Sponsor. NOT PICTURED: G. Hively. The Juniors were very busy the whole year. They started the year by ordering their class rings which they are very proud of. They also won third prize for their float in the Homecoming parade. Nearly all of them got to attend County Government Day in Fremont November 23; and December 4 they gave their Junior Class Play. By having a New Year ' s Eve Watch party, picking up corn, and having a slave day, they managed to raise the money needed for their ban¬ quet and prom May 6. All in all they had a very busy and exciting year and are all looking forward to becoming mighty Seniors next year. Last minute instructions

On August 31 forty-three green Fresh¬ men entered the doois of Hooper High, only to find out that on September 4 they would be put through the paces of initiation. After a fun-filled day for all, the Seniors gave a dance in honor of them in the gym. The Freshmen also busied themselves by making a float for the Homecoming parade November 6 and on February 13 they sponsor¬ ed the annual Valentines Dance. At the dance, Cindy Mintken and Dan Schaulis were crowned King and Queen of Hearts. 22
