ABOVE: llndcrhis guiding hands, the school is kept on an even keel. The problems facing a superintendent are many and the job isn't easy. Mr. Barr, our superintendent, grad- uated from Southwestern in 1938, He received his Masters of Education from the University of Oklahoma in 1950. Besides his duties as princi- pal, he also teaches social science. He has proved himself a friend to both stu dents and faculty alike. He received his B. S. from Phillips University in 1949, his Masters of education in school administration in 1,450 and has 35 hours work on his Doctors degree,
