The first floor hall is a mass of Bulldogs trying to reach their next class. O2 ,Q The suggestion has een made that an elevator or two be installed around the kennels, but until then, this stairway and hall to 3rd floor is very well trav- eled. The Morning Watch, introduced this year and held every Monday moming in the high school au- ditorium, made a place of its own in the life of Hooker High School students. This period of rest and meditation introduced the new week and gave students a fetling of closeness and unity. 2 1 4 I K K

She handles the Bull Q f f., dog finances and keeps things under lexl- Q, 2 control in the office. f 9 . A -- 1 :gf-ef Taking time out from a busy day, Fred Barr, Superintendent of Hooker Public Schools, paused a moment to listen to the daily announcements over the Squawk-Box. Mr. Barr is a graduate of Southwestern State where he received his B.S. in 1938. Mr. Barr received a Masters of Education in City School Administration from Oklahoma University in 1950. BELOW: This photogenic member of Hooker High School Staff is Mr. Garland Hollars, High School Principal. From his office on second floor, Mr. Hollars makes daily announcements, sponsors Student Council, and keeps life in Bulldog kennels on an even keel. Mr. Hollars also teaches three classes. He is a graduate of Southwestern State where he received his B. A. in 1950. He received his Masters of Education from Oklahoma University in 1954. C' ii 44 S
