After four quarters of spectacular, breathtaking plays, we were victorious with a score of 21 to 13. Following the game in our faithful old vessel, Louis Dalvit's Orchestra furnished music for the dance. The Upper Deck was decorated gaily around the theme Autumn Leaves. There were goal posts on each end of the outboards, with the yard markers along the stern and leaves were attractively placed along the stern Karen Manley was our Queen and our King was Bill Larson Queen Karen King B1 -1-if SEATED S Matson D F1 her S Whisman Queen K Manley King W Larson I Kirbv L Thorsen S Jung STANDING W Porter S Kever J Shotliff T Larson R HarkI19SS H B81-11111 36 HOMECOMI G Upchurch S Matson I Klrby R Llndstrom S Jun D F1sher sen S R Graham R Garm R Davles Thor Ns. Our concert band consists of 41 members, with Mr. Arnold as our captain. Some of our sea voyages this year were to the Rockton Retailers Carni- val Parade, Northern State Teachers College Homecoming, Roscoe Home Improvement Day, Lion's Day Parade in Rockford, and the Memorial Day Parade. The highlights of the year were the Annual Christmas Concert, Annual Spring Concert and most important, the District Music Festival at South Beloit. All bands need good equipment, so for this purpose we sold fire extin- guishers and delicious chocolate bars with almonds. The Pep Band is composed of members of the concert band and was featured at all the football and basket ball games.
