Often found at Romichs, Jack finances his skating with a part-time job at the Acme. He dislikes the name Charlie but prefers it to Doc's What say, Bud'?', Although his French is purely American, he and Rich liven up the sixth period class for the others members of Docis French II class. Jackis future plans include college and a career as a horticulturist. ACTIVITIES Chess Club l F010 Fiends 3, 4 Chorus 4 Projector Club 2 Yearbook Staff 4 TOBYSUE RUBIN SCT. RR, Academic I could vomitli' Tobysue, Doc Leslieis favorite amateur, is probably the only Latin III student to trade witty remarks with the old pro- fessionalf' and come out unscathed. But wit is not the whole of Tobyis personality, to which a two year membership in the Honor Society and a special mention in a scholarship test bear witness. She will never forget her acceptance at the Uni- versity of Scranton as the result of that test. But her failure to meet some of the more obvious requirements for this school did not daunt Toby and she was accepted soon afterward at Huhlenbure, where she will follow up her tentative future of U teaching math in high school.
