These people work in the elementary school as student teachers and here they get a truer picture of the teaching vocation and its place in society.

R-7 MATH CLUB A newly organized club this year, Math Club, under the direction of Miss Fitzgerald seeks to further the interest of high school students in math. The members of this club are taught to apply new methods, not learned in class, of mathematical calculations. SCIENCE CLUB Science Club serves to advance the interest of its members in science and its wonders and to provide them with an opportunity to see, learn about, and work with scientific equipment not ordinarily available to them. ART CLUB The Art Club serves as a source of enjoyment, education, and also per- forms services for the school and the community. The members learn new techniques and experiment and develop old ones. Sackett. llllr- SPORTSMIlN'S CLUB The Sportsmen's Club was or- ganized for the purpose of giving instruction and practice in the correct handling of a gun. Mem- bers learn how to conduct them- selves in a safe manner while afield. Experience is given in the various techniques of fishing. Projects in conservation are tree planting and replenishing fish in streams in the Honeoye Falls area. 39 GIRLS RIFLE CLUB The rifle club draws its membership from girls who are 14 years or older. The club spends'its time learning to handle firearms safely, and in practicing target shooting.
