Some of the principle duties of the Board are to furnish the buildings, procure the necessary funds, maintain an efficient staff including custodians, bus drivers, and cafeteria help. They establish and main- tain policies for the staff to follow in order to educate the children of the district. By attendance at other meetings they receive and exchange ideas that they feel will contribute to a more efficient operation of our school. SUPERVISING PRINCIPAL Mr, Worboys has been the principal of Honeoye Falls Central School for 27 years. Since his arrival many changes have taken place to further education in our school. Some outstanding features are the Cen- tralization of Honeoye Falls Central, a new addition to provide us with an adequate cafeteria, gymnasium. auditorium and many needed classrooms. Besides being an excellent principal, Mr. Worboys has filled many teaching positions, ranging from physical edu- cation to intermediate algebra, Outside of school much of his time is devoted to the Monroe County Teachers Association, The Monroe County Athletic Association, The Monroe County Schoolmasters Association. He was also chairman of Section 2 of the New York State Academic Principals, 6 HERBERT I. Havens. Art liditor. The STAFF for 1956 At last we are able to present to you the Spirit of 56 , the third Yearbook edition since the resuming of publication in 1954. We have, by hook or by crook, delved deep into H. F, C. S. life to bring you an accumulation of enjoyable memories for your year of 1956. Cur decision to eliminate the grade pictures in our edition was made in order to provide more room for pictures of High School activities. While we regret the omission of the former, we find the plan has worked out to the best possible advantage. Mr. Abeel, our musically inclined advisor, has helped us so much in our decisions as well as in the compiling of our Spirit We have had a tough pull but now that we present the Yearbook to you we look back with fond admiration on our efforts and, we hope, success, Left to Right: M.
