BASEBALL The '52-53 baseball team shown here, was very well organized. As we go to press the 354- team shows much promise with Mr. Starwald as the coach. There are about 30 fellows trying out for the team. ,J I STARS SOCCER Soccer is the H. F. C. S. fall sport. This year the team net- ted 4 wins, a great improve- ment over past years. ATHLETIC COUNCIL The Athletic Council is a group of high school boys and the advisor is Coach Charles Meisanzahl. Every year a new council is chosen by the boys in the high school. Each boy is allowed one vote for each office in the council. The main objective of the council is to instill the feeling of good sportsmanship in the partici- pants and the observers of all athletic contests. Sitting at table fleft to right! The new members are chosen by the standing members. These girls assist Mrs. Meisenzahl, their advisor, in gym classes. They also set up girls, intramurals and provide referees. The main objective of Leaders Club, as is that of Athletic Council, is to instill the feeling of good sportsman- ship into the observers as well as the participants of all athletic events.
