SADIE HAWKINS WEEK Each year the Art Club sponsors a Sadie Hawkins Dance in order to raise money for additional art mate- rials. This year the club decided to sponsor a funfilled week ending with the traditional Friday night dance. Each day students were asked to participate in dress-ups or fun activi- ties. The week included a back- wards day, purple and shades day, security day, sweat suit day and Lil’ Abner and Daisy Mae dress-up day. Six couples representing various grade levels, were nominated the previous week and voting took place all week long. At a penny a vote, the student body seemed to enjoy not only the voting process but the daily tallies. At the dance, Leslie Dotson and Brad Hart were announced as the winners of the Lil’ Abner and Daisy Mae contest. Best Dress-Up. Deanna Harris wins the Daisy | The winning couple.
