On September 27, 1985, Linda Mill- er, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Miller, was crowned Homecoming Queen. She was escorted by Jon Humphries, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Callhan. Linda was one of the four girls nominated for Home- coming Queen by the Senior class. 4984 Homecoming Queen Shelia McFarlane relinquishes her title as Mr. David Musick crowns Linda. 8 HOMECOMING HOMECOMING 1985 Terri Hart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hart, represented the senior class as an attendant. She was es- corted by Chris Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Taylor. Leslie Dotson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Dotson, was selected as one of the Homecoming Attendants for the Junior class. She was escort- ed by Randy Vernon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rick Vernon. Becky Honaker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Honaker, was no- minated as one of the four Senior Homecoming Attendants. She was escorted by Curt Cook, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dorsey Cook. Tammy Kiser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Kiser was selected as the other Homecoming Attendant for the Junior Class. She was escorted by Rod Siate, son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Slate. Sonya Fletcher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Fletcher, and Steve Compton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sher- man Compton, were chosen as Ju- nior Varsity Sweethearts. Ava Hart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Hart, represented the eighth grade class as Homecoming Atten- dant. She was escorted by Keith Compton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Compton.
