The time is past for the defenses have all been written. The time now is for the challenges. We live in a time of crisis. The crisis of our time, as we are beginning slowly and painfully to perceive, is a crisis not of the hands but of the heart. It is a crisis of which the entire cause lies in the hearts of men. The failure is a failure of desire, a failure of the spirit to imagine. With very few means, men who could imagine a common good have created great civilizations but now, with every means, with every wealth, we seem to create only ruin. The challenge is yours. May God bless you in your efforts in the use of your time to make a better world in which to spend your very valuable time. Mr. A. P. Baldwin JlCr.
