Motto: The joy of living is his who has the heart to demand it. Gerunds, participles, themes, precise writing, parts of speech, and dia- gramming sentences con- tinue to confuse, perplex, and muddle! In literature the Seniors travel with Drake and the “seadogs”; they revel in Elizabethtan courtliness and idyllic love and enjoy the Shakespearean theater. The journalism class is ever busy trying to get the school paper to press or the yearbook to the publisher. CLASS OF ’61
