We, the Seniors of Honaker High School, Class of ’47, Russell County, State of Virginia, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be our Last Will and Testament, and hereby revoke all wills and codicils by us at any time heretofore made. To Mr. Baldwin our Principal, Miss Fuller our Sponsor, and other faculty members who have guided us and endeavored to inculcate in us a lofty idealism and a high sense of personal honor, we leave our deepest gratitude and best wishes. To the Juniors we leave the honorable place we now hold as Seniors, and hope that they may make Honaker High School a better place. We sincerely hope that their days may be as enjoyable and profitable as ours. Evelyn Baldwin wills her eyelashes and love for butter scotch sundaes to Jean Hughes. Gerelene Fuller giver her molds to Anna Pearl Smith. Kyle Fuller gives his red hair and love for sketching aeroplanes to Joe Dye. Geanette Gent leaves her good looks to Billie Jo Yates and hopes she may thereby keep her appeal to the masculine sex. Gerald Griffith wills his interest in Honaker High School to those who need it.
