Advanced speech class students make use of the extensive audio equip- ment available. With the birth of H-F's own radio station, WHFH, a course is offered in broadcast- ing. Guest speaker, H. D. CHot Dogj Bryant, of WNWS, a Chicago all-news station, explains the promise of a career in newscasting. Morning announcements are given by advanced speech class members at the end of first hour. The address system can be pro- jected to one room, a department, a gym, or the entire school and can be used as a two-way intercom. W Developmental reading courses are a boon to college- bound students in improving speed and accuracy of corn- prehension. Characterizations and analysis increases the understanding of oneself and other human beings.
