Allen: Loullly ruum uIUlQf, H. Wayne, Indiana H NIUC LUNGERV Good times. They're fondly remembered, and eagerly awaited. They're the types of things that you can't wait for. You ask How Much Longer? and hope the answer is SOON. Everyone thought that way at least once during the year. The football players anticipated the chance to redeem themselves in the playoffs. Unfortunately, they were left wondering How Much Longer? when Culver Military Academy defeated them in the opening round of sectionals- 34-17. During the halftime of the NEIAC championship game, the basketball team was left wondering How Much Longer? it would be until they would win, making them the first team to win four NEIAC titles. The scoreboard read 36-25, Opening in favor of the undefeated, twentieth-ranked Bellmont Braves. The Spartan's question was answered as they rallied to win, 59-53. Students and faculty crammed the hallways and classrooms, wondering How Much Longer? they would have to wait before Focus 2000 would take effect. The school board was supposed to answer on Dec. 16, but it was delayed until February 17. After placing in districts, the Marching Band members went on to regionals, confident that they would advance to state competition.
