f icsiing the Cefeh ation... Each year everyone looks forward to the yearbook, but it takes more than that to put out the Pegasus. It takes time and hard work to make the yearbook a success. Being Homestead High's 25th Anniversary this year, the Pegasus stait wanted to make the yearbook something special. Choosing A Silver Celebration' as the book's theme, they set out to make this year's Pegasus memorable. The yearbook staii, however, was faced with several changes. For instance, the staff was considerably larger than it had been in previous years. This gave everyone a lighter workload, but made communication between K stait members more diiticult. The staff also put the yearbook on computer and pasted up camera reaoy pages, which made a significant change in the hours ittook to get the book done. Over the summer, many members oi the stalt enjoyed a trip to yearbook camp at U.C. Santa Barbara. While there, they learned about new yearbook techniques, brainstormed a theme, had hawaiian snow, and had barbe- cues onthe beach with other yearbook staffs. During the school year, the Pegasus stati held iund-raisers, including a hot dog sale, a car wash, and a school dance. These helped to pay for special additions tothe yearbook. So, it you are enjoying what you're reading, then we know we've done a good job. Happy Anniversary, Homestead! Senior Section: Front-Brian Foster. 2nd row-Scott Lim. 3rd row-Venecia Abe, Pam Jong.
