Coach Anderson's poloists compiled an 8-3 record to give them third in the SCVAL and a berth in the N.C.I. in which they placed fifth. Seniors Jim Emmick and Rich Faber were elected to the First Team All-League. The MVP Jim Emmick tallied 60 goals in l7 contests to receive Water Polo Player of the Year Award from the Cupertino Lions Club. Senior Bob Bierley received Honorable Mention in the league. The Scholar Ath- lete Pete Courture along with Senior Jim Rowland added strength to the team. Rounding-out the team were Juniors Dave Burnett, Tim McCoy, Andy Moore, Brent Paine, Ran- dy Reese, and Dan Zaiss and Sophomore Larry Stansfield.
