To insure a hard working group, fall club presidents Mary Droney and Sandi Gobets devised a point system whereby students interested in holding a spirit office had to acquire at least two hundred points, gained by attending games, wearing white, and painting signs. This point system proved successful when spring club presidents Sue Maynard and Sue Wilson enforced the new point system during try-outs and received the cooperation of many spirited members. Homestead's Art Club this year was composed of those who either have an interest or an ability in arts and crafts. Many activities throughout the year kept the members busy. Headed by Toni Masterson, Pres- ident, Linda Del Rosario, Vice President, Robert Booth, Treasurer, and Deb DeMarcay, Secretary, the Art Club hosted a booth at the Round-Up and a Poster Sale last fall. They also held an Art Sale in November, the proceeds going to the Art Department to buy equipment. During the spring, they all got together for an excursion to San Francisco and Oakland to visit various art institutes. Then to wrap up a most pros- perous and outstanding year, they conducted another Art Sale. X1 f .afslir K T ln' 9 5, Qvrekllbll 1 52 5 ws it if sf .
