1,67 hYiSwlgvriasBf1ll 9, ee mater 'Ute misfleioo Lively music of the California Brass and an abun- dance of mistletoe made the season bright for Home- stead couples as they frolicked at the Christmas Ball. Festive red and white streamers and helium balloons adorned the walls and ceiling of the gym as the tradi- tional Christmas tree regally occupied its place of honor in the center of the dance floor. The cheerful atmosphere at the season was reflected in the student center, where the couples could eat, converse with Santa, have their picture taken, and recuperate from their energetic dancing. Wreaths of mistletoe and Christmas decorations made the center- pieces for the refreshment table, and a hearth lent a cozy air to the picture scene. The coronation of the Queen LaMarylis Harris by last year's Queen, Miss Janet Rust, highlighted the l967 Christmas Ball. Santa Claus presented the tearful Queen with a dozen red roses, and announced the four lovely prin- cesses, Miss Rita Elory. Miss Linda Klocke, Miss Sue Sechrist, and Miss Julie Shepherd. Each princess re- ceived a bouquet of white sweetheart roses. Activities Commissioners Jennifer Hemmes and Chuck Loring were responsible for the success of the Christmas Ball. 0 Miss Jennifer Hemmes 2 nn--' The Coronation
