CRE T IGHT CRES The Crest dance was held on January 29, 1965, following a basketball game with rival Cedarburg. The purpose of the dance and the Guardian of the Crest contest was to raise money to finance the yearbook. Scott Egelhoif, the freshman nominee, was se- lected as Guardian ofthe Crest by an overwhelming number of votes. Escorting him to the throrie at the dance were Val Smith and Connie Hardman. Dave Egelhoif, Bill Nabak, and Pete Olsen were the other nominees. 39
