PROGRESSIVE OVEME T WAS SEE Mr. Spearbraker Mr. Patton Mr. Jordan Mathematics is part of everything we do and is, therefore, important. Here at Homestead most students have mastered basic skills and are beginning to delve into the more specific aspects of math with the aid of films, 3-D models. After learning the use and value of sets and equations, which involves a new math vocabulary, the students became able to open their minds to work with figures in a logical manner. These aims are fulfilled through the diversity of art forms offered. This year the use of plastic paints, which are more versatile than oil paints, was introduced. Art Appreciation is required of all Juniors who have not had at least one year of art.
