I-1 ' I-Ima Norway, the country of smiling people and midnight sun, is located as the northernmost country in Europe. lt is long and thin with mountains, farms, and wonderful beaches. The climate is similar to that of Wisconsin. Skiing and skating are the national sports--remember the Olympics! The Norwegian people with their friendliness welcome anyone who wants to see what the land of fiords is like. My home is at Elvefaret 13 Oslo 7, Norway. Even the best skier can fall on a slalom hill. Cross-country skiing is V also very popular in I Norway. This is my family. My mother is a housewife. My sis- ter Stine, is in high school. My father is a mechan ical engineer.

The beautiful island gem of Barbados lies off the mainland of South America, It is noted for its flying fish, sugar-cane, cricketers, and most of all, the warmness and friendliness of its 246, OOO inhabitants. Tropical Barbados, is a winter sonderland for those who seek relief from the cold winters like those of Wisconsin. It is with a little sadness and a wonderful memory that I return to my home at: Principal's Residence, Government Industrial School, St. Philip, Barbados. aaa? My home is an old St. John's Church is one , of the most beautiful Plantation house, and Churches in Barbados' is characteristic of many of the old homes in Barb ados. 82
