Tropical Barbados, is a winter sonderland for those who seek relief from the cold winters like those of Wisconsin. It is with a little sadness and a wonderful memory that I return to my home at: Principal's Residence, Government Industrial School, St. Philip, Barbados. aaa? Sometimes I wonder how people of different races, religions, and customs can live in peace and harmony. Somehow, they manage to do it in Malaysia. It is not surprising then, to find a great number of intermarriages in our country. I, myself, am a product of an intermarriage. My mother is an Arab whereas my father is a Sumatran. There are seven other children be- side me. We live at 1435, Jalan Abdul Rah- man Andak, johore, Bahru, johore, Malaysia. Come and visit me sometime! This is my mother, my- self, and my grand- mother in front of our house. This is my brother, Abdul Shukor and myself in front of It has a fruit sim - ilar to a strawberry. 81 a Iambu tree. I-1 ' I-Ima Norway, the country of smiling people and midnight sun, is located as the northernmost country in Europe. lt is long and thin with mountains, farms, and wonderful beaches. The climate is similar to that of Wisconsin. Skiing and skating are the national sports--remember the Olympics! The Norwegian people with their friendliness welcome anyone who wants to see what the land of fiords is like. My home is at Elvefaret 13 Oslo 7, Norway. Even the best skier can fall on a slalom hill. Cross-country skiing is V also very popular in I Norway. This is my family. My mother is a housewife. My sis- ter Stine, is in high school. My father is a mechan ical engineer.
