“The Man Who Came To Dinner” was the first play put on by the Drama Department this year. Under the supervision of Ms. Pat Quinn, the cast members presented the story of a guest who, after coming to the Stanley’s home for dinner and slip- ping on their front porch steps, re- mained there while recuperating from a broken hip. The uninvited long-term guest, played by Dennis Hinnant, disrupted the family’s lifestyle while staying with them. As the Stanley family finally got rid of the fully recuperated guest, he slipped, leaving them with more disruption in the future. 18 John (Henry Tyson), Sandy (Andi Miller), Richard Stanley (Doug Satchell), Burt Jefferson (Roby Raton), Maggie Cutler (Mary Bradley), Mr. Stanley (Doug Shamblem) and Mrs. Stanley (Roxanne Whitmore) are amused as Doctor Bradley (Billy Warren) places Mr. Whiteside (Dennis Hinnant) into his wheelchair.
