The strengthening of the middle school, increased emphasis on academic excellence, increased development of student leadership and increased student activities I would consider my major accomplishments while at Homer. Homer has been very special to me. I shall miss all the students who have made HCS A Great Place to Learn. ” In the future, I hope to make a positive impact on public education, which is the backbone of our democratic society. I will spend the rest of my life ensuring that public schools continue. I chose a career in education because I enjoy the enthusiasm and vision of youth. I like working with “kids. ” It is hard to focus on one special moment while at HCS.
