Superintendent’s Message The season of Commencement in many instances can be likened to the season of Easter and the message of hope that it gives to people. Easter is a time of new life and new beginnings. Nature is being awakened after the winter dormant season and new growth, new life and effort appear everywhere. Much of this new growth must exert tremendous effort on its own to survive. Students leaving high school are also leaving a protective environment for one which is highly competitive. They have reached an age which is generally associated with maturity and responsibility. They leave school full of hope, with visions of wonderful things to happen In their lives. Those who have prepared well for this effort on their own, will anticipate the need for and be willing to work harder, to compete and receive just return for their efforts. In a highly competitive world It Is rare not to experience some failure, but it is hoped that by these trials we learn and become stronger. In the years to come it wi11 be interesting to hear these seniors reminisce about their school days, the teachers, administrators and incidents that happened Neath the Orange and the Black, Midst the scenes they loved so well.
