SUPEHIHTEHDEFIVS IHESSHGE The dedication for this year has been made to the citizens of this community and school district. It is a dedication which carries with it the sincere admiration our youth have for that group of citizens who have made and are making possible their fine school building and its excellent staff of teachers. Recognizing the organization, work and consistent industry of these citizens which made possible the school plant, we as the staff and students can well take a lesson from them by planning our work and doing each job well- so that good, honest. responsible citizens may be the end result of contact with this excellent school. Homer Croy, in his essay entitled The Fine Art Of Doing A Little More Than You Are Asked To Do' very wisely says, There is an alt in work well done and the man who works because he enjoys his job and believes in it often wins a far greater reward than he dreamed. We might think of it as, 'The Fine Art of Doing A Little More Than You Are Paid To Do' -- and what a really fine art it is. How much better off most of us would be if we practiced it. There is no surer rule for business success, and no truer compass for the seas of friendship. Do a little more than is expected. Never comprise for a job half doneg always suive for perfection, whether the job be large or small. It is a key that will make almost any door spring open. There's magic in it. It is my hope that this book will be a reminder, to all who read it, of the many pleasures, tasks and experiences that have been a part of their daily activities in the past. and a challenge to do better in each succeeding job that may be undertaken.
