were all new to hrgh school that year and thought we were qurte the class Needless to say we proceeded to let the whole hrgh school know rt The boys showed the sophomores who was who as they effortlessly won the mg of war Our grrls flubbed therr dub a brt though as they lost the softball game Although we really fought rn our class meetrngs we seemed to make some progress rn rarsrng funds for our senror trrp It was grrls agarnst the boys when rt came trme to prck the place for our party to close the school year The grrls won out so we went to Seven Hrlls for our class prcnrc As sophomores we started out by selectrng Mr Pancost and Mr Tregloan as our advrsors From our forty frve members we selected these offrcers to lead us for the comrng year Presrdent Peter Lucyshyn Vrce Presrdent Don Streets Treasurer Carolyn Curry Secretary Charles Angevrne Student Councrl Betty Thompson Charleen Folk Jack Sweet and Tom Leach Also Barbara Wells was selected as Treasurer of the Student Councrl In our annual freld day we came out on top by wrnnrng the tug of war and most of the other events Boyl Drd we have fun on rnrtratron day as the Junrors probably recall We started out by makrng the grrls wear burlap bags and the boys dresses Each of the sophomores was assrgned a freshman slave and we really worked them no doubt about rtl That was also the year we started promotrng on a brg scale wrth the Sweater Swrrll Remember the nrght Krdsl Well we somehow got though that year and ended up wrth another trrp to you guessed rt Seven Hills We started off wrth a bang rn our Junror year for that year we were gorng places We went though the usual pro cedure electrng Mr Tregloan and Mr Wmchell as our advrsors Our class offrcers were Presrdent Charles Angevrne Vrce Presrdent Josephrne Cunnrngham Treasurer Carolyn Curry Secretary Lots Peterson Student Councrl Joyce Chamberlarn Charleen Folk Tom Leach and Don Streets Also Barbara Wells had the honor of berng elected as Treas urer of the Student Councrl agarn We had some pretty good trmes durrng thrs school year We put on two colossal attractrons thrs year Backwoods Romeo whrch was a real success and the annual Junror Camrval Sure enough at the end of the year we found ourselves at Seven Hrlls agarn We started our senror year wrth a lump rn our throat We knew rt was the last year for us rn school We were deter mrned to do our best for the school that had done so much for us rn the past years We elected as our sponsors Mr Wrn chell and Mr Tregloan We elected as our offrcers.
