The first activity facing us was initiation. The next big acti dty was Homecoming. We chose Roger Swanson and Bonnie Skow as our attendants. The class officers in our freshman year were: Connie Heck, president; Bonnie Skow, vice president; and Gloria Hough, secretary- treasurer. Soon after starting our sophomore year Judy Cain moved to Winnebago, leavdng fifteen in our class. As the year progressed, Diane Johnsen moved to California and Duane Loomis joined the army so at the end of our second year only thirteen remained in our class. Since that time no one has left our class or joined it. We were vei-y proud to have three girls from our class elected cheerleaders this year. They were Beverly Brodersen, Bonnie Skow, and Connie Heck. Our class officers during our sophomore year were: Lee Jensen, president; Bonnie Skow, vice president; Diane Johnsen, secretai-y; and Connie Heck, treasurer. Our attendants for Homecoming this year were Roger Miller and Patricia Krumwiede. Our class sponsor our first two years was Mrs. Mary Speckhart. The first thing we did in our junior year was to help with the initiation. A few weeks later we elected Lee Jensen and Beverly Brodersen as our Homecoming attendants. Two other important activities held in this year were our junior class play, He Was a Gay Senorita directed by our sponsor, Mrs. Merlin Mahaney, and the Junior-Senior Banquet for which we chose a Stairway to the Stars theme. Our class officers during our junior year were: Roger Swanson, president; Bonnie Skow, vice president; Connie Heck, secretary; and Patricia Krumwiede, treasurer. Also in our junior year Patricia Krumwiede was elected cheerleader from our class. Our last year in high school began with initiation for the freshmen being the first of many im- portant activities. Later in September the Homecoming King and Queen were elected. They were Roger Swanson and Bonnie Skow. Their attendants from the senior class were Lee Jensen and Beverly Brodersen. The class officers we elected for this year are: Patricia Krumwiede, president; Lee Jensen, vice president; Bonnie Skow, secretary; and Beverly Brodersen, treasurer. Our class sponsor this year is Mrs. Phyllis Doran. This year Gloria Hough was elected cheerleader from our class. At present we are anxiously looking forward to our senior class play, the Junior-Senior Ban- quet, skip day, and, of course, commencement. Of the thirteen members of the graduating class only two have attended school together through- out all these years. They are Alvin Mogensen and Bonnie Skow. Only one of our class has attend- ed school in Homer all thirteen years and that is Ronald Flaugh. We are now preparing to leave and carry away with us the best we have attained in our high school career. . .
