Dedicated To: This years dedication goes to the people who alone keep the school running smoothly. THE SEC- RETARIES. If it weren’t for the secretaries who put the bandages on our fingers or find just what we need or for the Bookkeeper who pays us on time our life would be harder. We would like to say Thanks for being so dedicated.” Mrs. Jane Hall has been brave enough to work here 6 years. She said she likes to be around the kids with their smiles and hugs. She finds working here an enjoyable job. She likes reading, baking, and working at the church. Jane has lived in Homer for 7 years. Mrs. Patsy Beard is even more brave working here 8 ears. She stated she likes being around the kids and there s never a dull moment. Her hobbies include watching yler in sports and spending time with her family. She said he has lived in Homer all her life. (How long is that Pat?) Mrs. Cathy Tingley is the bookkeeper. She started par- time in 1982 and courageously moved to full-time in 1986. Mrs. Rushton, and Mrs. Garthe organized the first Science Fair for Flomer School. There were 50 students who participated from grades 1-8 in the event. Participation ribbons were given to all who completed a science project and 24 ribbons were given to those projects that were outstanding. Refreshments, provided by Mrs. Ambler and the High School Foods class, were served to the public while judging took place. Mr. Gruschow. Mr. Garthe. and Mr. Rauschenberger. the judges for the Science Fair, had a difficult time making their choices as many of the projects were exceptional.
