STUDENT COUNCIL CONSTITUTION Article 1. Name and object. Section 1. The name of this organization shall be the Student Council of Homer Central School. Section 2. The object shall be: 1. To help govern the student body. 2. To create, main- tain, and extend mutual understanding between parents, students, and faculty. 3. To develop good leadership by providing experiences in government. Article 2. Membership. Section 1. Membership in the Student Council shall consist of the president of each class, captain and one representative from the Traffic Patrol, two pupils from the junior homeroom and one pupil from each other homeroom. Section 2. The homeroom representatives shall be elected annually by their respective homerooms following elections of the class officers in September. Article 3. Officers-Powers and Duties.
