VIRGINIA BARUT As traveling is Vll'g16S favorite pastime she thought that graduating from Mater Dolorosa and taking the Commercial Course would prepare her to become an airline hostess Dancing skating designing and swimming find their way into Virgle s busy schedule ESTELLE BEAULIEU H B Lawrence Junior High School claims Estelle as an alumna and the Technical College Course was Estelle s choice at HHS After having been accepted at Bryant College she will probably join her father in business. When homework is finished listening to records and driving keep Estelle occupied. PAULINE BEAUVAIS fr ROBERT BAUER Rum who attended Morgan Junior High before coming to Holyoke High is a fervent sport fan and an equally earnest pool enthuslast At the present time he is undecided about what he will do when school closes RICHARD BAUER Hoof is that tall lanky fellow who halls from Morgan Junior High School Football is Dicks favorite sport and pool his favorite pastime After leav ing Holyoke High he intends to go to work RAYMOND BEAULAC Ray an alumnus of Perpetual Help IS well liked by all who know him He continually displayed clean sports manship fine spirit and unusual talent as a member of our football swimming hockey and track teams Raymond who is a prophet on our Yearbook staff w1ll probably attend prep school or don army khaki after graduatlon PAUL BEAUVAIS Paul is that Jovial fellow who made such a hit in the Thanksgiving play As well as belonging to the Dramatlc Club he is the chairman of the social committee and one of our prophets Lavsrence s pride and Joy may go to Massachusetts State College to enrich his horticultural interest. ' ' Twin' , as Pauline is called, came to 'F' H.H.S. from Lawrence Junior High ' School and immediately enrolled in the ' my College Course, which she hopes will Q J eventually bring her to Massachusetts ' State College. During her three years . , at school 'Twin ' joined the Dramatic il Club, Rooters' Club and the Herald staff.. Dancing and swimming keep 1 Pauline active. JOAN BELAIRE From the Woodlawn School in South Hadley came the Belaire twins. Joan decided that the General Course would best prepare her for air-hostess train- ing. Joan is very active as Student Council representative, member of the Dramatic Club, Rooters Club Major- ettes, swimming team, volleyball team, basketball team and Ilfrnlfl. ELINOR BOURBEAU Frenchy is an alumna of Joseph Metcalf junior High School and is en rolled in the General Course to prepare for work after graduation Frenchy is active in such sports as hunting dancing and skating 'S EILEEN BOWLER Bow graduated from Highland Junior High School The General Course gave Bow a good background for work as a secretary Roller skatlng dancing and swimming provide outside enjoyment DONALD F BRESNAHAN A Veteran of Foreign Wars Bres is completing a General Course at Holyoke High He emoys all sports and is a line person to know CHARLES F BRINKMAN Chuck came to Holyoke High from Lawrence Junior High School and has been enrolled in a Ceneral Course He took time out from his education to serve his countrv in the U S Navy Before entering the Navy Chuck was a star on the swimming team This year Chuck was manager of both the swimming team and the H H S Band Chuck is undecided about h1s future DORIS BRODSKY After graduating from Joseph Metcalf and completing her College Course here Doris plans to wend her way to a good school Active in the Dramatic Club Herald and Rooter s Club she still was able to save time for hunting dancing skiing and designing AVIS BROWN Freckles graduated from West Street Junior High School took the Commercial Course and will soon be a perfect bookkeeper The Rooters Club and autograph collecting are favorite pastlmes of Freckles ROSALIE BUDER When Ros came to H.H.S. from ,Iostph Nletcalf junior High School and enrolled in the Fcntral Course, she had 'in idea of being a secretary. Ex en when Ros reaches her goal she will still go in for dancing. basketball. and skating as she did in high school. HOWARD J. BURNETT Howie a West Street graduate is not only an excellent student QFirst Honor Roll and the National Honor Societyl but also an outstanding athlete Cbaseball basketball and footballl. H was class president in his sophomore year and president of our Student Council and of the State Council as a senior. Howie is sure to make a success of whatever goal he aims at.
