The School . . . The drive for a new school building was begun on March 1, 1923. During this drive, the greatest encouragement came from Cardinal Mundelein, who, in a letter to Father Sztuczko, the founder, paid high tribute to his efforts and to the movement. To regard the school as merely an edifice of stone and brick would surely be a misconception. M7110 would venture to speak as such when its walls have vibrated in the booming crescendo of pep assemblies, when they have contained the Almighty God in pious retreats, and have echoed the voices of trained educators imparting knowledge and guidance to their charges? Rather, we must regard the school with the respect due to a living institution which has molded and continues to mold the noblest of God's creation on earth. Holy Trinity High School, as in the past, fills a definite need in the religious, social, political, and economic life of American youth in Chicago. Since the school's very beginning, it has been instilling in its students the principles of Catholic education as expressed in the teachings of the Church. OPPOSITE PAGE . . .
