Priests, Sisters, and laypeople share its burdens and its happiness. This year of building a new school and better men and women of Trinity is the story in this yearbook. This book has one shortcoming, at least. lt does not, because it can not reach into young hearts, adequ- ately express the full appreciation of the present student body and of students yet to walk the halls of Holy Trinity. Our gratitude shall always be a part ot this, new school. gy -:f iJ,f ?, ' . -v ' -e -1-ja 1,3 . N it in--H Fk, cccc '- K. ' -C11 BIIIIDIIIG PRUGRESS The late tall and early winter warmth, seemingly an answer to many prayers, enabled all of the outside brick work to be completed. All of us shall long remember the Friday afternoon in early January when the workmen placed a flag atop the building corner, telling us in a spine-tingling manner that the last brick had been laid. ln a brief, high school program the entire high school paused to sing its thanksgiving. Shortly afterwards, the entire roof was closed and workmen in a heated interior started to layup hallway and class- room walls. All was done without working on Holy Days, On this page and throughout this book we present a story of building progress. To all of the crew, to like- able-bossman Tietel, to the General Contractor John l-leyman, to Architect E. J. Their goodness and their usefulness are not measured in material worth. Q my lf, 1 ssgss A Ab Q 5 it 'i Zi fi An Evening Prayer Night is falling, dear Mother-the long day is o'er And before thy loved image l'm kneeling once moreg To thank thee for keeping us safe through the day, To ask thee this night to keep evil away. I am going to rest, for the day's work is done. Its hours and its moments have passed one by oneg And C-Od who will judge us has noted them all- He has numberedeach grace, He has counted each fall. ln His book they are written against the last day g O Mother, ask Jesus to wash them away!
