GIRLS SOFTBALL Holy Trinity's Girls Softball team has been in exist- ence for three years. Although they did not form a league the first year, the lassirs, through practice and application have organized a first class softball league. In last year's series, the Sophomores triumphed over the juniors. Each of the players was awarded a silver softball to commemorate the event. FENCING TEAM It was rather a handicap to lose Miss Madeline Dalton after six years of etiicient coaching of fencing. At mid- term the girls tried to keep up the tradition of good Trinity Foilsters, but the odds were too great. After Doris .lerlinski and jane Nolan, who have been active members since their Freshman year, are gone, we fear the team will be broken up. I-Iere's hoping another fencing coach will wend her way to Trinity. GIRLS BASKETBALL The Terrierettes, under the eliicient guidance of their coach, Miss Margaret Mullins, broke even with six wins and six losses. The two St. Lukes wins were beau- tiful feathers in their caps. You know I-Io-Ho-Kus was classed as the Tops in jersey. Our team will lose none of its members this year-A so we leave them looking forward to big things for next season. SWIMMING? CLUB The Swimming Club, consisting of sixteen members, meandered over to the Y twice a week with their able coach, Miss Mullins, for swimming lessons. As a result of these many lessons, we now have with us six- teen Eleanor I-Iolms' . . . behold the fair nymphs.
