SODALITY The Sodality of the Bless ed Virgin has been an active organization a t Trinity for several years It is associ ated with the Prima Primaria Congregation of Rome and has manifested itself in numerous spiritual and temporal 8Ct1V1 ties during the year During the month of October Sodali ts participated in t h e Living Rosary presented twice in Holy Trinity Church. On the feast of the Presentation of Our Lady fifty students were received into the Sodality as the spiritual project for the month, and a Thanksgiving basket was presented to a needy family. Proceeds from t h e annual Sodality dance and the sale of Christmas cards were sent to the Missions, and a clothing drive in February enabled the Sodality to send clothes to Fr. John hi1lman's parish in Naycross, Ga. Special devotion to Our Lady 18 seen in the daily recitation of the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin, the reception of Holy Communion on Sodality Sun- day each month, and on the feasts of Our Lady. The crowning of the statue of the Blessed Virgin and the May procession in her honor was held on May 28th. Betty Ann Noodsend, prefect of the Sodality, acting as May Queen, was attended by Esther Sherman and Ann Lippincott. Jimm Curtin was crown bearer.
