Under the leadership of Coach Bob Raxsdale, the Eagles won Regional Champs for the 7th year in a row, and they recaptured State Championship, which Menard had lost for the last two years, after having held the spot for 3 years running. The Eagles beat Jennings in the Regional Tourney, with Dub Dinnat becoming Runner-up Medalist and Menard getting 4 of the top 5 Medalist spots. Dub Dinnat was the team medalist with a 78 average. At the State Playoffs in Shreveport, Dub Dinnat was first round leader, and at the end of the day, the team as a whole was one stroke back from first place. Menard became State Champions by beating Springhill by one stroke.
