The 1979-1980 Menard Tennis Team once again gave Menard something to be proud of. For the ninth year running, the Eagles Tennis team became Regional Winners. The Boys Team won 6 of the 10 meets it participated in, while the Girls Team won 5 ot its 10 meets. The 1979-1980 sea- son saw the Eagles on the road more, as the Eagles went in search ot teams that were ot the same caliber and rank that they were. Throughout the entire season, the Eagles were coached and kept in top notch condition by Mrs. Betty Kurfiss and her assistant, Coach Robin Becker. Through the tireless efforts of both of these people, the Eagles were turned into a top ranking tennis team that Menard can be proud of.
