They had lost four Senior players, three of whom had been starters for last season's team. However, this didn't stop the Lady Eags from giving it their best shot. For her second year as Girls' Basketball Coach, Mandy Fortenberry kept the team in top shape. This season saw the team beating old rivals, Peabody, A.S.H., and Pine- ville. As a result of the defeat ot Pineville, the Rebels were kept out of State Playoffs for the season. Finishing off the season, the Lady Eags came out 4th Place in District, improving on last year's ranking. The team should remain intact for next season, so there will be plenty of action to look forward to. Suzy Fiachal received the Most Valuable Player award, while Stephanie Prejean was voted Most Improved Player.
