Jeananne Brooker and her escort antici- pate a delightful evening. The long-awaited Soph Hop came on january 10. The theme, Misty,,' was portrayed quite well in the decorations, which included a park scene on the stage and a Misty Lane. The dance, a huge success, was enjoyed by everyone who came. Rita Gianechini, our new Student Body Vice President. it ta 't S i Kathryn Bell President of CSF This year mid-term elections were enthusiastically encouraged by the Faculty and Student Body of Holy Names. The tremendous response by the girls showed ready leadership and school spirit within our Student Body. This reaction triggered a better under- standing of the workings of democratic government and reminded everyone that democracy is a privilege that must be used in order to make it work. The elections brought in new leadership to some class and Student Body officesg but, even more important, it evidenced an active participation in student government.
