Badminton and tennis have been added for the enjoyment of the interested. Besides learning co-ordination through vigorous exercises, the students further their athletic skills and learn the true value of sportsmanship and teamwork. W

Registration day was a hectic confusion of schedule changes, homeroom and lock- er locations, and book and uniform pur- chases. Freshmen e a g e r 1 y acquainted themselves with the campus and with their new classmates. Sophomores, jun- iors, and Seniors returned to their Alma Mater after three months of vacation. Though nine months of study lay ahead, everyone had to concede that it was good . vp. to be back. 60 The Executive Council Pin Ceremony is the solemn vesting of student power in elected ofiicers. The Executive Council pin, a blue pin bearing the seal of the Sisters of the Holy Names, is distributed by Sister Superior to mem- bers of the Executive Council. These pins are a reminder of the responsibilities which rest upon the student leaders. The ceremony ended with the act of consecration whereby Executive Council members asked the help of Jesus and Mary to carry out their duties and to meet their responsibilities. 38
